Pirouette
Dance little puppet as your master pulls the strings. Head lolls; lips yanked up; corners lifted in a gruesome charade.
*the audience applauds*
Dance little puppet yet your toes just scrape the ground. Legs flail for stability but you cannot find the floor beneath.
*vicious laughter echoes so sweet*
Dance little puppet show us your steps as you dangle. Arms held high; bloody hooks plunged through flesh, and still you grin.
*applause ensues once again*

They held each other and kisssed
And pushed each others'
darkness into the corner
Believing in each others' light
each others' dream.
